This historic bike ride will begin with the best views around. The first stop will be made at the Belgrade Fortress, the historic city centre of the Serbian capital. From its place on a 50 meter tall limestone hill, the fortress overlooks the confluence of the Sava and the Danube. Afterwards, we will continue our bike ride to the at least as impressive monumental Cathedral of St. Sava, the Neo-Renaissance Parliament Building and more. BIKE TOUR TO BELGRADE’S BEACH

Formerly one of Wallachia’s most important metropolises on the Danube, Brăila can still be distinguished by the elegant villas of its former mariners today. MARGARETE ISLAND AND BASILICA
Take a deep breath, relax and recharge - this is what the locals love their Margarete Island for. After a short bus ride, we will get onboard a mini-train for a 30-minute tour. You will be able to discover the highlights of this island, such as the centuries-old trees, the park of the former rose garden, the Centennial Statue, which reminds of the unification of the cities Buda, Pest and Óbuda and the Margitsziget fountain. BY MINI TRAIN TO THE BASILICA
The view when the small excursion train approaches the summit of the castle of Esztergom will surely amaze you. In front of you, the largest neoclassical basilica in Hungary - 118 meters long and 48 meters wide - awaits. Its huge green dome towers far over the city and simply takes your breath away. FROM ESZTERGOM TO THE DANUBE BEND AND BUDAPEST
This excursion begins with a highlight - you will visit the Esztergom Basilica, one of Europe’s largest churches. The bus will then take you along the Danube to Visegrád, the centre of royal and ecclesiastical power in the 10th century. The castle, which is situated on top of the Danube Hill, was built in the 13th century by King Béla IV. About one century later, the magnificent Royal Palace arose. Just as impressive is the spectacular view over the Danube. The “Linz City Express” - a small sightseeing train - takes you on a comfortable ride through the capital of Upper Austria to explore the traces of the past. After visiting the New Cathedral - also known as the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception - you can discover Linz's tradition in the Café Jindrak with a piece of “Linzer Torte” and a coffee. At the end of the 17th century, Emperor Leopold I commissioned a hunting lodge. About half a century later, Maria Theresa had it reconstructed into a true imperial residence. MELK ABBEY, THE LANDMARK OF THE WACHAU
The Benedictine Abbey Melk is not only the landmark of the Wachau, but also one of faith and Austrian history. Since its founding in 1089, it has been continuously inhabited by Benedictine monks. It is regarded as a masterpiece of fusion of art, culture and nature, of faith and science. Enjoy a wonderful view of the Wachau from the 60-meter-high Melk Abbey, before taking a look at the imposing interior with its many baroque rooms.

EXCURSION TO DÜRNSTEIN AND MELK ABBEY
Take a city walking tour through Dürnstein in the footsteps of Baroque times. The church in Dürnstein with its blue and white baroque spire is Dürnstein’s main sight. Artful reliefs show the suffering of Christ and four obelisks with the images of the apostles’ tower into the sky. The Danube flows right next to it. The Collegiate Church was built in the 15th century and was originally an Augustinian monastery, before it was rebuilt in baroque style. The fortress, which towers over the city, was built in the middle of the 12th century and became the prison of Kind Richard I (Richard the Lionheart) about fifty years later. The fortress was widely destroyed in the 17th century and today, only the fascinating and romantic ruins remain. You will then continue along the Danube to one of Europe’s most magnificent Baroque buildings and the highlight of this excursion: the Benedictine Abbey Melk. In the sun, its imposing structure shines like gold. Situated on a 60-meter-high ridge, it offers a fantastic view over the Danube and the dreamlike landscape of the Wachau.

DÜRNSTEIN – LITTLE CITY WALK, GRAND EXPERIENCE
The alleys of Dürnstein’s historic centre are cosy and car-free. Your relaxed stroll leads you to the Collegiate Church with its blue and white spire. With its colourful painting, the precious reliefs and the four obelisks, it is one of the most beautiful baroque towers in Austria. Also a great experience is the ascent to the imposing castle ruins above the city. Here, King Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned for months by Duke Leopold V.
